Weald Country Park
Spent the weekend helping my brother move house. Decided to have a bit of down time on Monday so took a bike ride to Weald Country Park.
This is a nice park (more pictures can be seen under "My Pictures" and at larger sizes)

Fun and Learning
On Sat, 21st to 22nd March I attended the Wicket Training course at JWeekend
The course was given by Al Maw who is an excellent presenter and although I have been using wicket for some time was able to keep my interest. I learned a few new things but by far the most valuable was the opportunity to revisit some aspects of wicket that I had been ignoring and to refocus my understanding.
A lot of value and fun to! Cant think of a better way to spend a wet weekend!
London Wicket Event
<GEEK WARNING - this post contains material of a geeky nature. Caution is advised>
I gave a presentation on securing Wicket application using Spring Security (Acegi) at the London Wicket Event kindly hosted by Google at their London offices.
Normally these events are only attended by a few so I prepared for a presentation around a lap top, I ended up presenting in front of 30+. This would not have been an issue if I had prepared slides! Trying to give a presentation about code to 30+ is not a good idea!
