I am CEO of 3B-Workshopin both UK and Malaysia.

3B-Workshop started with the idea to provide to the SME with the benefits that the big corporations get scaled to their needs and not just cut down versions of enterprise solutions. It is well know that 80% of the benefit from software is provided by 20% of the functionality so why pay for the 80% you dont need?

This lead us to out sourcing and the issues faced by smaller companies trying to reduce costs.

There are many horror stories with outsourcing and off shoring, most related to the international aspects of the transaction. What we are able to do is enable the SME to get the advantages without having to deal with international issues and with NO middle man!

How we do this is quite simple, when you talk to manager in KL you are talking to a director of the UK company. He has the same authority to act as though he was in the UK. All transactions are under UK law and you pay a invoice in £ to the UK company, no international transactions. So you get the benefit on low Asian costs but without the pain.
